Girl Empowerment Mission – Winter follow-up session, a week-long residential workshop, is being organized by NTPC Darlipali from 23.12.2022 to 30.12.2022 with 38 girls from 6 schools in the project vicinity. The workshop is covering basic academics, soft skills, life skills, sports and extracurricular activities and essentially motivating them to achieve excellence in various fields.

On the 5th day of the workshop, chief guest, National level hockey player and coach Smt. Manju Lakra addressed the candidates and inspired them with her kind words: "Physical fitness and mental alertness are the two key elements which will ensure mastery in any field you choose to pursue. " The dignitary was a role model for the children and her motivating speech was a great source of encouragement and successfully uplifted their spirit. 

Shri H N Chakraborty, GM (O&M) was also present during the interaction session and felicitated the guest speaker after the ceremony.
